New Jersey Artist Receives Award for Her Philanthropic Efforts
to Surrounding Community Organizations.
Colts Neck, NJ, September 13, 2007: Laura Brunetti was recently
honored by the 2007 Monmouth Park Charity Ball Committee as Volunteer
of the Year on behalf of Collier Services, one the non-profit recipient
agencies. Ms. Brunetti is recognized for her tireless efforts of
volunteerism, philanthropic efforts and for sharing the gift of
art by helping others on behalf of Collier Services.
Sister Ellen Kelly, a Collier Foundation Board Member, submitted
Brunetti's nomination and expressed, "We are fortunate that
this ball of fire, creative force, kind heart and generous spirit
found her way to Collier. We are blessed by her presence and are
proud to nominate her".
Laura Brunetti, founder and owner of L'Estrella Studio in Colts
Neck, New Jersey, has turned her artistic endeavors into the Art
of Giving. She is known as a world-class healing artist by helping
charities raise funds through her original artwork. By gentle persuasion,
private clients purchase Laura's original artwork and write their
checks directly to their chosen non-profit organizations. Ms. Brunetti
also hosts charitable events and donates her artwork to their art
auctions.

The Accidental Artist - Laura Brunetti:
Laura Brunetti fell upon
watercolor quite unintentionally. While on vacation, she decided
to take a hiking and watercolor painting class...as a result, art
turned into a passion!
As a graduate of Monmouth University in Marketing and a graduate
of The Western School of Feng Shui, Laura had never formally studied
art, although she has worked with several mentors who have encouraged
her to instinctively trust her talent. Artist Marjorie Fister of
the Art Alliance in Red Bank was one of Brunetti's mentors who
encouraged her to be "free" with her painting. Her creative
approach to the philanthropy of art has empowered and inspired
hundreds of community members in workshops, seminars and studio
workshops for community at risk youth programs and health care
facilities.
Laura has reached out to the community and is donating her studio
for art and poetry lessons for at-risk youth. "There is nothing
more rewarding in the educational process than to be able to touch
and to literally absorb your own work of Art. The collections I
create are for posterity", Brunetti cheers. "As an artist,
I also express myself through watercolor, gouache and collage."
"My signature collection is the "Art from the Heart" Angel
anthology. Each painting is customized for loved ones coping with
challenges in their lives. Whether it is overcoming a disease,
an addiction or a loss, I will research their personalities and
create an angel just for them."
Laura creates vibrant and energetic paintings which reflect her
vivid personality. Ms. Brunetti welcomes visitors to her private
gallery, hosts charity art shows and Feng Shui consultations at
her very own art enclave, L'Estrella Studio in Colts Neck, NJ.
Part of her repertoire also includes poetry and journaling classes.
Laura is a published poet, enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending
time with family and friends.
Laura Brunetti is involved with many organizations such as The
Mercy Center of Asbury Park, Collier
Services and her Alma Mater,
Monmouth University. She has also been active over the years
with the Children of The
Marian Center in Opa Locka, Florida.

It is the great means of making life possible, the great seduction
to life, the great stimulant of life." Essentially life

empowerment with all genres, including at-risk youth. Laura's
passion in life is to teach others of all ages that the sky is
the limit.
